About Mango Mornings Artworks

Awaken your space. Nourish your soul.

I’m Liana Meyer, a visual artist based in Cagayan de Oro, Philippines. I create expressive abstract works using acrylic paint, exploring themes of emotion, healing, and quiet transformation. My art is rooted in intuition—layered with color, texture, and movement that reflects both personal and spiritual depth. Through each piece, I aim to invite stillness, connection, and a sense of beauty in the imperfect.

My Story

Though I’ve always been drawn to creativity, my journey as an artist didn’t follow a traditional path. For many years, I worked in other fields—supporting causes I cared about, writing, and building a life grounded in service and meaning. But somewhere along the way, the quiet pull toward painting returned, and I found myself reaching for brushes again, almost instinctively.

Rediscovering my art mid-career was like returning to a forgotten language—one that had been waiting for me all along. In the stillness of early mornings, surrounded by the colors and textures of tropical life, I began painting again—not for perfection, but for release. What started as a personal, healing practice slowly grew into something I wanted to share.

I now work primarily with acrylics, creating expressive abstract and botanical pieces that reflect the emotions, transitions, and spiritual undertones of everyday life. My process is intuitive, rooted in texture, movement, and color—capturing the beauty in complexity, the sacred in the mess.

From this journey, Mango Mornings Artworks was born. It's my way of honoring this second chapter: a life where art is both a voice and a refuge. Through my work, I hope to create space for others to feel seen, comforted, and inspired—no matter where they are on their own path of becoming.
